About

I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Spring of 2020 with a B.F.A in Industrial Design, and Kinetic Design as a minor.

My specialty within ID is designing for, and implementing, Additive manufacturing, 3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering. I use a Peel 3 for all of my 3D scanning, and their proprietary software, Peel.Cad for mesh refinement and exporting. I am proficient with Fusion 360 and Blender for modelling, Keyshot and Twinmotion are my main rendering software’s. Additionally, I have also worked with a lot of low volume prototyping, utilizing many different manufacturing processes, mainly 3D printing, but also basic CAM / CNC machining + engraving, laser cutting and engraving, basic mig welding, and designing/working with composites like carbon fiber.

I am a big car enthusiast myself. I have a decent understanding of a variety of mechanical components within the automotive world, and my first job was at a shop. I have done lots of work on my ‘65 mustang and various VW’s I have owned. I think that there is a lot of room to capitalize on how 3D Scanning and reverse engineering and custom designs can be implemented in car modification, and it has always been my passion to combine the two, so I started my own small business called 404 Designs that specialize in exactly that.
