 CUSTOM TRADE SHOW DESIGN

There are a number of plant and produce shows that take place each year, (IFPA, PMA, TPIE). Almost every year we were tasked with designing, and manufacturing a new exhibition for the shows. At every single show we entered, we won awards for our exhibition space and design.

Did you know plants carry electrical current through them? Very small amounts, but enough that we can measure that current and have it interact with the current in our bodies! The display you see above is covered in LED lights, each segment of the piece is wired to the plants surrounding it. As you touch the plants, small Arduino computers read and relay the change in electrical current through the plant, prompting custom written C++ code that tells the lights to illuminate in a fantastic pattern!
