404 Designs was founded in 2022 by myself, and my business partner, Ian. 404 was started as a way for us to combine our passion for automotive design, and our want to make. We started with a Peel 3D Scanner, and a portable computer setup so that we could 3D scan almost anywhere. We quickly moved to in-house manufacturing, we rebuilt a 4x6ft plasma cutter into a 3 axis CNC router, bought a laser cutter, and a small army of 3D printers (FDM and SLA). We began refining our process for reverse engineering parts we scanned and replicating them with 3D printing. We specialize in rare and hard to come by JDM parts that we import and redesign, and manufacture for sale. We sell some unique imported Japanese accessories as well!
